Kim || Kona, Hawaii
I absolutely adore photographing a friend who are also a photographer. It makes the whole session more of a hang out, and that's exactly what happened with Kim. We worked at the same place for about four months, but we finally became friends only a few weeks before Kim left to Seattle. I'm really regretting not going on photo adventures together with ear earlier.
When you're photographing a fellow photographer, it's totally acceptable to stop randomly while driving and park on the side of road to explore. We did this multiple time from our little trip from Waikoloa to Kona and back, and it was such a blast! Photographing a fellow photographer is also the time you can actually explore your creativity, since they understand the whole thing about creativity. They'll pose weird for you and be okay, and they'll be okay if we're out all day shooting. I had so much fun with Kim and hopefully I get to visit her in Seattle for more adventures!
Hope you enjoy these images as much as I do.
